Simple for them. Reassuring for you.
The CareBox device sits at home and does the looking after. The app keeps family and caregivers in the loop. Tap any part of the device to see what it does.
Big, red and easy to find by touch, with a Braille label. One press alerts every chosen caregiver at once, and CareBox escalates if nobody responds.
A daily “I’m okay” in one press. If the check-in doesn’t happen, family get a gentle heads-up so they can call.
Large text for the time, reminders and new messages. Every alert also flashes and uses colour, so it works for people who are hard of hearing.
Plays Loved One Voice™ messages, spoken reminders and step-by-step voice guidance, with audio confirmations for every button press.
CareBox links to the family app, so alerts, check-ins and messages travel between home and family wherever they are in the world.
Up and running in three steps

Connect the family
Download the app and invite siblings, caregivers or a neighbour. Choose who gets which alerts.
-
3
Let CareBox look after the everyday
Reminders, check-ins and voice messages run on their own. You hear about it the moment something needs you.
Emergency SOS
At the heart of CareBox is one large, highly accessible emergency button. When it's pressed, the people you've chosen get an alert straight away. If no one responds, escalation steps make sure the right help is still reached quickly.

Fall & inactivity monitoring
Falls are one of the biggest risks for older and vulnerable people. CareBox is designed to pick up hard falls and sudden impacts, and to notice when normal routines haven't happened or a wellness check goes unanswered, for the moments when someone can't ask for help themselves.
Thursday, 09:30. No morning activity yet and the check-in went unanswered. Naledi and Sipho have been notified.
Medication management
CareBox reminds your loved one when it's time for each dose, even in your own recorded voice. You can set and change schedules from the app, see what's been taken, and get a notification if a dose is missed.
- Blood pressure 07:30 Taken 07:34
- Vitamin D 08:00 Taken 08:02

Wellbeing check-ins
A friendly question at a set time, answered with one press. It's a small daily ritual that tells family everything is fine, and a quiet signal when it might not be.
